An account login is required to access data and set up runs in the Open qPCR. Chai Support cannot recover forgotten login credentials.
If you are unable to remember your login credentials, you'll need to perform a factory reset on the Open qPCR to restore it to its original factory condition. Then you will be able to create a new account the next time you connect. Data from past experiments is not recoverable after the factory reset.
To prevent this issue in the future, multiple users and login credentials can be created by navigating to Settings from the Open qPCR home screen and selecting Manage Users. Select “Add User”, and under “User Details” add the desired login credentials. Admin account access can be provided by toggling the “Admin Access” option on. Only user accounts with Admin privileges can create additional users.
